At ABEL we can offer you the full range of PAT testing services. We can carry out all parts of the testing process on your behalf, with absolute minimal disturbance:
Identification
We will identify those pieces of equipment within your office, factory, school, building, etc. that
fall under the PAT testing legislation.
Testing
We will test all identified equipment. Passes and failures will be noted in a report and labelled clearly
on the device in question.
Minimal Disruption
We realise that you may prefer to have the testing carried out at a time outside of normal working hours -
minimising disruption to staff\tenants\pupils, etc. To help with this our engineers offer flexible working hours. Additionally, our testing
kit allows for IT testing without powering down. So, for example, servers (mail, file, web, etc.) can be left running during the process.
Repair
Basic repairs (such as cartridge fuse replacement, plug re-wiring, etc.) will be carried out free of charge as
needed by the engineer to ensure a device passes the PAT test. Where more serious repairs would be needed then customers will be notified
and repair options can be discussed.
Record Keeping
We will keep records of all your equipment and it's pass\fail state. A copy will be left with the customer and
a backup copy will be kept at ABEL. (This process can also help with asset tracking).
Notification
When equipment is due for retest we will automatically notify you, ensuring you stay on the right side of
legislative, accreditation and insurance requirements.
